A 1-2-1 videography course for beginners who want to stop guessing and start filming with more confidence. We’ll cover camera settings, composition, lighting, audio and editing, giving you the skills you need to make better videos from start to finish.
Private 1-2-1 Workshop
This private course is booked exclusively for you or your group. It is suitable for 1 to 4 people, with the price calculated per person.
Loan Or Use Your Own
You are welcome to bring your own equipment for this workshop or borrow ours at no extra cost to yourself.
Private Videography Training Built Around You
On this one day workshop you'll learn everything you need to start shooting professional quality videos with a DSLR or Mirrorless camera. You'll be taught by a professional filmmaker who has worked in the industry for over 25 years.
This is a hands-on day, not a sit-and-watch lecture. You’ll spend the day filming, reviewing what you’ve shot, fixing mistakes and building confidence with the camera in your hands.

What You Will Learn
A practical day covering the full process of making a video, from planning what to film through to shooting, sound, lighting and editing your footage into something that looks and feels professional.
Shoot Planning
Learn how to plan a video before picking up a camera, including what shots you need, what order to capture them in, and how to avoid getting back with random clips that don’t fit together.
Camera Skills
Understand the main video settings on your camera, including shutter speed, aperture, ISO, frame rate and white balance, and how each one affects the look of your footage.
Lighting, Audio & Stabilisation
Learn simple ways to improve the look and sound of your videos, including basic lighting, cleaner audio recording and keeping footage stabilised for smooth shake-free shots.
Video Editing
Learn the basics of editing your videos in Adobe Premiere Pro, from organising your footage to cutting clips together and creating a polished final edit.
